Inspire Award Finalists for ‘Family Business of the Year’ 2017!
We are so unbelievably thrilled to be announced as Finalists again for the ‘Family Business of the Year’ award at the Inspire Business Awards 2017! After first winning the award back in 2015 and finalising again in 2016, we could not be happier with our achievement for the third year running and we look forward to the Awards evening late November.
We cannot thank our staff enough that have worked so hard and helped us to achieve our status as Finalists once again, it’s safe to say this is something we are very proud of. From Tony Baker first establishing the company back in 1981 as a ‘one man band’ business in Reading, his Son-in-Law and Daughter, Steve and Tracey Butler, worked hard over the years to take over the business and help it get to where we are today. Steve and Tracey’s Daughter, Laura Holmes, then joined the company in 2008, with their Son, Paul Butler, joining in 2013. As a family they have all worked together and supported one another to successfully grow the company, which today services around 150 sites and employs over 120 staff.
We are very much looking forward to the awards evening being held on the 23rd November when we will find out whether we have been successful enough to win the award!
